On August 13, 2025, the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases (CRID) officially entered into a partnership with Touristique Colis et Courrier Express (TL) to facilitate the secure and efficient transport of biological samples across all ten regions of Cameroon.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Caleb Yangkoulo, Head of Administration at CRID, and Mr. Aboubakary Abdourahman, Deputy General Director of Touristique Logistique. He was accompanied by Mr. Patrick Ngueko, Regional Sales Manager, and Mr. Mohamadou Bassirou, Billing Manager.
This collaboration directly supports CRID’s Sanger sequencing services under the African Centre for Vector Genomics (AVecGen) project. Touristique Logistique will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and confidential delivery of biological samples to CRID’s laboratories in Yaoundé.
