From research laboratories to the desks of policy makers, the media is very instrumental in pushing forward evidences to speed up vector control decisions and in influencing the behaviour of the population towards a vector free society.
The 2nd TVCAG annual meeting was vastly reported by multiple influential Cameroonian media organs. The story of the advisory group plenary session was reported in English and French from different angles by Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV-TV); CRTV-RADIO; Equinox Television; Le Messager; Echo Sante; Radio Maria and The Guardian Post. The stories ranged from television news reports to radio broadcasts and newspaper publications.
It is great joy for the teams of CRID where the PIIVeC project is hosted and other partners to see the media greatly implicated in disseminating issues ensuing from the 2nd TVCAG Annual Meting in Yaounde, Cameroon. 
Greater satisfaction will be to influence vector control policies and behaviour change through this research evidences and knowledge propagated through the media.
