Position: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Location: CRID, Yaoundé, Cameroon
Role Summary
CRID is seeking to recruit a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to strengthen its capacity in tracking and assessing the performance of its public health research initiatives. This position is key to developing and implementing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks that ensure systematic measurement of progress, outputs, outcomes, and impacts across multidisciplinary components. Working closely with research teams and stakeholders, the M&E Officer will promote learning, enhance accountability, and support evidence generation to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health research programmes.
- Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, logframes, and results-based management.
Desirable
- Familiarity with malaria research, vector control interventions, or large-scale clinical/field trials.
- Experience in donor-funded project reporting and accountability systems.
