As a biomedical engineer, you will be responsible for the equipment fleet at CRID, their life cycle and thus must do and document appropriately logbooks. Oversees part of the maintenance contract administration and maintenance contract management. You are also responsible for the market research before purchases, including involvement in the contracting process for the purchase of equipment or maintenance services. Management and follow-up of maintenance or purchasing contracts is part of your responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
1- Management of Bio-medical technologies
-Day to day inspection of the functionality of equipment and intervention when needed |
-Carry out routine preventive maintenance |
-Inspects and tests all newly purchased or leased equipment |
-Carry out corrective interventions, and maintenance or guide decision-makers towards the best choices for costly or complex repairs. |
-Must report on the quality of the interventions made concerning all the equipment. |
-Follow-up and updated inventories of the technical plate form. |
-Oversees equipment inventories and spare parts stocks, databases of equipment suppliers and services. |
-QA follow up for the maintenance contract activities…… |
COMPETENCES REQUIRED:
-Effective problem solving, and ability to work well with members of a scientific laboratory |
-Strong engineering and mathematical abilities. |
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet time sensitive deadline………………. |
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
-A minimum of 5 years’ experience with 2 years in a similar role is required…………..
