World Mosquito Day 2021 : “Reaching the zero malaria target”.
This August 20, 2021, the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases (CRID) will join the rest of the world to celebrate the 124th edition of the World Mosquito Day under the theme: “Reaching the zero malaria target”. Mosquitoes are one of the most unique arthropods in the world that have managed to thrive throughout the centuries, causing death and discomfort through vector-borne diseases, especially malaria.
